A large cast musical set to a jazz score, Zinzi is the story of a South African girl who is torn from her tribal roots and sent to live in the brash, urban cityscape of Harlem in the 1940s. Struggling to find her way, she falls in love with a jazz musician who threatens her own artistic fulfillment. (Currently in development)
